FirWav Multirate Filter Bank Parameters

Multicolor figures on this page accompany the paper by Taswell, March 1998, Empirical Tests for the Evaluation of Multirate Filter Bank Parameters. The following sequence of figures was generated for an 8 x 4 perfect reconstructing orthogonal wavelet filter bank designed by Heller. It is called here HROMK(8;4;2) for Heller Real Orthogonal M-band K-regular with length N = 8, bands M = 4, and K = 2 zeros at z = -1 on the lowpass filter.
